Ostra is a small studio and shop on Hazelton Avenue. Three jewellers make every piece upstairs, and most of what we sell is made to order.

Made for you

Bring us an idea, a drawing, or a stone you already own. Rings made to order start at $3,500.

    Sketch

    We draw it with you, usually in one visit. You leave with the drawing and a price.

    Try it on

    Before anything is made in gold, you try a wax or printed model and we adjust it.

    We cast, set and polish it in the workshop. Most pieces take six to eight weeks.

The workshop

Everything is made on the second floor, above the shop. We use recycled 14k and 18k gold and platinum, and we can tell you where each stone came from.

Resizing
Free for the first year on anything we made.
Repairs
Claws checked and retipped, chains soldered, stones reset. Usually ready in a week.
Your gold
We can melt down old pieces and use the gold in something new.
