Jeepy Doggies

Dog walking and boarding, Toronto

Jeepy Doggies is Abraham and Max's dog walking and boarding business in Toronto's east end. Their old Wix site was built on a Spanish-language template that was never fully converted. The new site replaced it on 20 August 2026, and its current version went live on 7 October 2026.

Before and after

Before

The old Jeepy Doggies homepage on a computer: a cartoon logo of dogs in a black Jeep in front of the Toronto skyline, and a black panel with the words Join the pack, a Message us on WhatsApp button and a short description.
The old Jeepy Doggies homepage on a smaller phone: the logo, a black panel where the Join the pack heading is barely visible, a WhatsApp button, and call, email and Facebook icons along the bottom.
The old Wix homepage.

After

The new Jeepy Doggies homepage on a computer: the headline Dog walks, beach days and boarding in Toronto's east end, WhatsApp and services buttons, and a stack of photos of their dogs with Dolly the yellow Lab on top.

What was wrong with the old site

  • The site was built on a Spanish-language Wix template that was never fully converted, and some page names were still in Spanish.
  • When we checked in August 2026, the business details Wix shares with AI assistants still held the template's placeholders: a Mexican phone number, the email info@sitio.com and the name "Jeppy Doggies".
  • Pages said "Book Online", but online booking was switched off for every service, so the calendar couldn't take a booking.
  • The homepage's description in search results offered doggy daycare, which they don't do.
  • On the first screen, the "Join the pack" heading was dark grey on black and hard to read.
  • An AI search readiness audit on 20 August 2026 scored the site 57 out of 100. Its lowest marks were 35 for the signals AI tools use to cite a business and 40 for content they can quote as answers.

Results

We ran the same AI search readiness audit on the old Wix site on the day it was replaced, and on the new site in October. Wix's own speed report shows how the old homepage loaded on a phone.

Our website check opens the new site without trouble, and so do the crawlers ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity use. We checked on 14 October 2026.

What Abraham and Max needed

Abraham and Max meet every dog before the first walk, so they didn't want online booking. They wanted east end dog owners to see their prices and real photos of the dogs they look after, then send a message.

Their clients' reviews had to stay in the clients' own words, and the site had to sound like the two of them.

What we built

Questions about this project

How much did the Jeepy Doggies website's AI search readiness score improve?

It went from 57 to 98 out of 100 on an AI search readiness audit (AEO/GEO), which scores a site on signals such as structured data, headings, meta tags and FAQ content.

How fast is the new Jeepy Doggies website on a phone?

In Google's PageSpeed test on a phone, the homepage's main content shows up in 1.9 s, down from 7.0 s on the old site, and its speed score went from 63 to 99 out of 100.

What was wrong with the old Jeepy Doggies website?

The site was built on a Spanish-language Wix template that was never fully converted, and some page names were still in Spanish. When we checked in August 2026, the business details Wix shares with AI assistants still held the template's placeholders: a Mexican phone number, the email info@sitio.com and the name "Jeppy Doggies".

What did we build for Jeepy Doggies?

A move off Wix for Abraham and Max's dog walking and boarding business: their dogs on the first screen, a map of their east end route, WhatsApp on every page, and an AI search readiness score up from 57 to 98.

Can ChatGPT and other AI tools read the new Jeepy Doggies website?

Yes. Our website check opens the new site without trouble, and so do the crawlers ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity use. We checked on 14 October 2026.

Can you do the same for my business?

Yes. We start with your home page: we design and build it with your own photos and words, and you see it live before you pay. Then we build the rest of the site and set it up for Google and AI tools.
